I’m certified as a Clean Election candidate
I have received notice that I have been certified as a Clean Elections candidate by the Maine State Ethics Commission, having turned in 189 validated qualifying contributions. This is great news and will give me the funding to run a fabulous campaign.
I am now also featured on the Women’s Campaign Forum website, as an endorsed candidate. Check out the site at www.wcfonline.org and go to the Candidates link, then select “2010 STATE AND LOCAL endorsements.”
We are starting our organizing, and now have town chairs for 10 of the towns in the district. Our county chair, Antonio Blasi, has also called a county committee meeting for June 15, at which time we will try to get town chairs for the other ten towns and the four islands.
Things are moving along down here in Hancock County, both for my campaign and for the Hancock County Greens.
Lastly, I do still have a small debt from the gubernatorial campaign and would appreciate any contributions that any of you could make. No amount is too small. I did a small party the other day, and those dollar and five dollar bills sure do add up. You can still use the CONTRIBUTE button on this site to help me pay of my gubernatorial debt.
Regards,
Lynne
